Calling hours for John "Jack" Podsedly, age 84, of Concord Township, formerly of Geneva, will be held 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, November 5th at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio.

Jack was the son of John and Sadie (Patterson) Podsedly, born on June 10, 1934 in Cleveland and passed away October 28, 2018 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township.

Jack served in the U.S. Army and was an Engineer for the former COE Manufacturing Co. in Painesville.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne (Pyle) Podsedly; sons, John (Anne) Podsedly , Joseph (Susan) Podsedly, James (Maryellen) Podsedly, Jeffrey (Beth) Podsedly; daughter Judith (Marc) Falcone; grandchildren, Nick (Catrina), Falcone, Olivia Falcone, Alex, Jordan, Jenna, Jack and John Podsedly; great grandchild, Emerson Falcone; sister, Estelle Duch; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna (Ed) Kubik.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
