Graveside services for John D. Snowberger, Sr., age 92, will be 10:00 am Tuesday Dec 27, 2016 at Sec. 11, Riverside Cemetery in Painesville. A Mentor resident, Mr. Snowberger was born on Dec. 13, 1924 in New Bedford, PA and passed away Dec 19, 2016 at Symphony of Mentor Assisted Living.

John served in the US Navy, participating in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during World War II. He retired as a supervisor for T.R.W. Corporation. John loved baseball and enjoyed serving as an umpire for the Painesville Little League.

John is survived by his sons, Gary L. and John Snowberger, Jr. and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela (Latona) Snowberger on October 6, 2016; Parents, Isaac and Mini Snowberger; and siblings, Lester and Max Snowberger, and Mary Schupp.
