Funeral services for Joseph A. Mihevic, age 77, will be 11:00 am Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH 44077, where friends will be received from 2-6 pm Sunday. Joseph passed away on August 4, 2014 at Emeritus at Newell Creek in Mentor. A Willowick resident, Mr. Mihevic was born on July 3, 1937 in Harwick, PA

He graduated from St. Jerome Grade School and Collinwood High School Served in the US Army and the Army National Guard Joe retired from East Ohio Gas Company as a Maintenance and service technician. Following his retirement, Joe worked for the Wickliffe Police Dept. as a school crossing guard for many years.

Member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Wickliffe and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Survived by, Children, John Mihevic of Bedford and Mary Mihevic of Lakewood Grand Daughter, Isabella Mihevic Brother, Andrew Mihevc of Mayfield Preceded in death by, Wife, Nancy A. (Simon) Mihevic in 2010 Parents, Frank and Theresa (Vehar) Mihevc Brother, Frank Mihevc Sisters, Dorothy and Mildred Mihevc
