Funeral Services for Joseph William Torre will be 10:00 AM, Monday, December 10, 2018 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 9th at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.

Mr. Torre was born February 23, 1923 in Fairport Harbor to Hugo and Ethel (Nenno) Torre.  He passed away December 7, 2018 in Painesville Township.

Joseph served in the U. S. Army Air Corp with the 73rd Bomb Wing.  He was a life-long Lake County resident and lived in Concord Township for 70 years. He was also a life-long member of St. James Episcopal Church.  He was a metal layout man for Diamond Shamrock for 35 years and later was the owner/operator of Torre Construction.  After retirement he and his wife, Vi traveled the United States in a motor home.  Joseph enjoyed hunting, trap shooting and was a car enthusiast.  But most important to him was his family.  He looked forward to the times they spent together.

Joseph is survived by his son, Jim (Debbie) Torre of Concord Township; daughter, Carol Torre of Mentor; grandchildren, Jim (Stacey) Torre, Marcee Torre; Brandee (Sean) Masterson, Lannee Torre; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola (Galofaro) Torre; his parents; and sister, Evelyn Marie (Ernest) Werbeach.
