Mass of Christian Burial for Josephine T. Brown age 93 of Painesville will be 9:30 AM Monday   at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State St. Painesville. Family and friends may call  Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Painesville.

Josephine was born on August 28, 1923 in Painesville and passed away September 14, 2016 at her home in Painesville surrounded by her family.

Josephine was a lifetime  member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville and the St. Vincent DePaul Society at the church. She was a CB radio enthusiast who went by the handle " Ma Green Jeans" was a past president of the Hale Road School PTA and enjoyed crocheting and spending time on the shores of Lake Erie. But the most important part of her life was her devotion to her family.

She is survived by her children, William L. (Marie) Brown; James D. (Barbara) Brown; Timothy S. (Yong) Brown; Judith A.  (Robert) Howard; and Sharon T.  (Donald) Barfield.

11 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren

She also leaves behind  her dear caregiver and friend Tyra

Preceded in death by,  Husband, William A. Brown whom she married on January 3, 1942, daughter, Dottie, son Robert Brown, brothers, William, Joseph, Rudolph, Walter, Albert  and Richard Lawrence, sisters, Estelle Cullen and Helen Poole
