Obituary

Joshua M. Rosenheck, age 45, passed away on May 8, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland. The son of Ira and Sharon (Hechler) Rosenheck was born on April 16, 1973 in New York, NY.

He was the Senior Global Marketing Manager for ColorMatrix Div. of PolyOne Corp. in Avon Lake.  Prior to that, he was employed by the Lubrizol Corporation for many years.  He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Josh was a member of the E.D.S. Support Group and was a coach for Mentor and Concord Softball Leagues. He enjoyed collecting vintage and antique items, metal detecting, making maple syrup, attending heavy metal concerts, hiking in the desert and national parks, and was a world-wide traveler.

Joshua is survived by his wife, Melissa (Jones) Rosenheck, whom he married on July 11, 1998, and daughter, Ilana of Concord; mother, Sharon (Hechler) Cohen of Boynton Beach, FL; Aunt Susan Sirover of New York, NY; Godfather David Mayberg of Monticello, NY; Godparents Iris and Sandy (deceased) Edelson of New York, NY; siblings through marriage Steven Cohen (Lisa) of Commack, NY (Alyssa, Carl & Gabriella) and Lori Papadakis (Alexandra) of Amityville, NY; mother-in-law Linda & father-in-law Robert Jones of Painesville; sister-in-law Kimberly Strahs (Michael) of Carpentersville, IL (Gavin & Cameron); sister-in-law Sara Klose (Chuck) of Hilliard (Alexandra & Jacob). He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Rosenheck, step-father, Bob Cohen and cousin Gary Rudnitsky.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday May 11, 2018 at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.  I n lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Ehlers-Danlos.com/giving by noting in the memo designation "In honor of Joshua Rosenheck for vascular research" or to Hershey Montessori Upper School.
