Ornelas-Gordillo , Juan

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held   9:30 AM Wednesday August 23, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 N. State Street, Painesville.

The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tuesday August 22nd at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue Painesville  and at St. Mary Church Wednesday 8:30 AM until 9:30 Mass.

Juan was born November 28,1948 in El Huizache Gto, Mexico to Martimiano and Abelina ( Gordillo) Ornelas.  He has been a resident of Painesville for 45 years.  He enjoyed fishing,  gardening,  cooking for his family, working hard and helping people.

Juan is survived by his wife Antonia (Soto); mother, Abelina Gordillo of Lorain, Oh; children, Teresa (Carlos) Fonseca, M. Juanita Ornelas (Felix Hernandez), Gerardo Ornelas Soto, Sandra Estrada, Carlos (Elizabeth) Ornelas, Mario Ivan Ornelas, Juan E. Ornelas, Jonathan Ornelas and Michael Ornelas. Grandchildren, Nico, Roberto, Cody Colon, Irais, Johan, Yosma and Sandra Ornelas, Yarin, Carlos, Luis, and Pamela Ornelas, Zoey Ornelas, Julian Ornelas, Jayden, Ornelas and great grandson, Joel Colon.

He was preceded in death by his father and son, Juan Antonio.
