Judith C. Lazuka, 84, of Concord Township, died on December 24, 2024. She was born November 8, 1940, in Littleton, Iowa to Bertrand and Winifred (Cooper) Cavanagh. Judy was a devoted mother whose children were her first priority. Her generosity and dedication to her family knew no limits. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Judy is survived by her children, Jean Lazuka, Elizabeth Hrusch, Walter Jr., Christopher (Anna), Joseph (Maureen), Stephen (Melissa), Scott (Victoria), Jennifer Lazuka, Michael and Paul (Maria). She leaves behind 23 adored grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Anthony Hrusch. She is also survived by her siblings Joan (Johnson), Tim Cavanagh and Sue (Betteley).
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, sister Margaret and brothers John, Paul and Denny. Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Judy's life on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon at the church. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
