Judith Marie (Kephart) Ress, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022.  Judy was born July 9, 1938, in Painesville, Ohio to Murray and Anna Marie Kephart.

Judy graduated from Painesville Harvey High School in 1956.  She attended Ohio University and then had a secretarial career at White Motors and Glidden Paint in Cleveland.  Judy and Jerry Ress were married in 1971 and had a close and loving marriage until Jerry passed away in 2014.  They had no children but were the loving parents to a series of Shelties.  Judy was also an avid reader and animal lover.

Judy is survived by her siblings, Tim, Roger (Wendy), Bruce (Connie) and Lisa and Wes Salyers, as well as eight nieces and nephews.

Judy was a fun-loving and kind soul.  She will be missed.

There will be a Memorial Gathering at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until time of service.
