Julia Gyure, age 100, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. A lifetime Painesville resident, the daughter of Alex and Agnes Butcher was born on May 12, 1915. Julia enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers, cooking and canning; but most of all, she loved caring for her family. She had worked for Merkel Nursery, and was a cafeteria worker for Diamond Shamrock and Painesville Twp. Schools.
Julia is survived by, Sons, George (Violet) Gyure of Perry Robert (Sharron) Gyure of Olmsted Falls Ronald (Connie) Gyure of Ft. Worth, TX Kenneth (AJ) Gyure of Port Allen, Louisianna
10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 13 Great Great Grandchildren also survive She was preceded in death by, Husband, George Gyure Grand Daughter, Susan Rideout Siblings, Mary Kuti, Margaret Joles, Joseph Butcher, James Butcher, and Irene Hambor
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, where friends will be received from 6-8pm Wednesday. Interment will be in Perry Cemetery.
