Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen A. (Hayward) Burichin, age 65, will be 10:00 am Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street Painesville. Friends will be received from 4-8 pm Thursday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Kathleen was born on April 7, 1949 in East Cleveland and was a Painesville resident for many years. She passed away on August 24, 2014 at Lake Med Nursing Home in Painesville. Mrs. Burichin retired in 2009 after 30 years as a secretary for the Painesville City Schools at Harvey High School. A Member of St. Mary Church, the former Isabella Guild of the Knights of Columbus Council 947 in Painesville, she enjoyed traveling and trips to the Spa.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother is survived by, Husband, Frank Burichin, whom she married on Nov. 7, 1970 Children, Michelle (Michael) Murray and Matt (Ashley) Burichin Grand Daughter, Madelyn Murray Brothers, Thomas (Joanne) Hayward and Geoffrey (Susan) Hayward

Preceded in death by, Parents, Robert L. and Joan (Stark) Hayward

Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Painesville

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mrs. Burichin's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Rd. Mentor, OH 44060 or to Catholic Charities Food Force in care of St. Mary Church.
