Kathleen Cloe Murphy, age 76, of Concord Twp, OH passed away in Painesville, OH on June 9, 2021. She was born December 2,1944 in Cleveland, OH to Richard F. and Alta (Stansell) Lohiser.

She was a graduate of Riverside High School Class of 1962 and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Her family was her delight.  Kathleen especially enjoyed cooking for her family and church.  In the 1970s, she advocated for replacement of an unsafe wooden bridge on Concord Hambden Rd, just East of Ravenna Rd, because the school bus carrying her children and their classmates traveled over it.  She will be buried in Concord Cemetery within view of the upgraded bridge.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, David V. Murphy; son, Philip (Ramona) Murphy of Painesville; daughter Beth (Alfred Luna, Jr.) Murphy of Fairfax, VA.; grandchildren Lawrence and Shaunna Murphy; great grandchild, Everleigh Murphy; brothers, Richard (Jean) Lohiser of Concord Twp., Stewart (Joyce) Lohiser of Mentor, and Philip (Sara) Lohiser of Middlefield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends will be received 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday,  June 18, 2021, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 250 Bowhall Rd, Painesville, OH 44077.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
