Kenneth R. Smith, age 89, passed away February 24, 2021 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born October 22, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Ralph and Isabelle (Schmidt) Smith.

Kenneth served in the United States Air Force.  He moved to the Lake County area in 1997.  Kenneth was an optometrist and was the owner/operator of House of Hugo.

He is survived by his stepsons, Richard (Linda) Chapman and Scott (Kris) Chapman; stepdaughter, Connie Chapman; sisters, Mary Jo (Eugene) Hoffmann and Katie (Eddie) Bell; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Chapman-Smith in 2018; his parents; siblings, Larry Smith, Harold Parker, Marie Parker, Helen Smith, Robert Parker and Loretta Crown.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Perry Cemetery.
