A Celebration of Life for Kenneth P. Young, will be Saturday, February 11th at 3:30 PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Family and friends may call 2:00-3:30 PM prior to the service.

Born September 28, 1942 in Cleveland, he passed away February 7, 2017 at Heartland of Mentor.

Kenneth worked for General Electric at Nela Park for 32 years, retiring in 2002.  He was a U. S. Army veteran, serving in the 101st Airborne in Turkey and was a member of American Legion Post 336 in Painesville.  He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing and was also an avid sports fan.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Connie (Patchin) Young; son, George (Mari) Young; daughters, Barbara (Wayne) Luczywo and Brenda (Jay) Dent; stepchildren, Chris (Jose) Rea, Joseph (Traci) Coss, Jake (Carly) Coss and Jill Smith; brothers, Theodore (Joanne) Young and Robert (Roger) Young; sister, Linda (Keith) Newberry; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Amelia Young; brothers, Bill and George Young.
