A Celebration of Life for Larry L. Pomeroy, 73, will be held December 9, 2018 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM at American Legion Post No. 336, 60 Chester Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077.  Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.

Larry was born May 28, 1945 in Painesville to Clarence and Irene (Logan) Pomeroy.  He passed away November 14, 2018 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.

Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam war and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.  He was a general contractor, owned and operated Pomeroy Construction.   He was a pilot who had a passion for  flying he owned  his own plane for many years.

Larry is survived by his wife, Gail Sue (Hanrick) Pomeroy; son, Mikel (Javier) Pomeroy; daughter, Melissa (Hugh) Graham; grandchildren, Hugh and Autumn Graham. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanley Pomeroy and Wilman Pomeroy.
