Funeral services for Larry E. Winters will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Family and friends may call 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, April 20th at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Larry was born November 16, 1941 in Cadiz, Ohio to Albert and Dorothy (Vermillion) Winters.  He passed away April 17, 2018 in Painesville Township.

Larry was in construction and worked for Winters & Lewis Excavating in Montville.  He enjoyed stock car racing, and his garage was always open for sharing both his mechanical expertise and life experiences.  He especially loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Carolyn (Babos) Winters; son, Mike Winters; daughter, Paula Thompson; grandchildren, Lisa Rowe, Vanessa (Gene) Davis, Desiree (Justin) Wood, Sheryl Farren, Shaun (Taylor) Winters and Jocelyn Thompson; Eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Stuermer, Donna Hall and Carol Butsko.

Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Patty Farren; his parents; one brother and seven sisters.
