Laurel Pike, age 88, passed away June 25, 2026, in Painesville. She was born, January 15, 1938, in Cleveland to George Kebrdle and Gerry (Gardner) Kebrdle.

Laurel was the office manager for R. L. Pike Industrial for over 28 years. She also worked for Sears Roebuck as a salesclerk for over 8 years, and at Dollar Tree.

Laurel was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville, the American Slovenian Club and the Fairport Harbor Senior Center.

She enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Senior Center, going to the American Slovenian Club, traveling, and golfing.

Laurel is survived by her son, William Wayne Zampini of Texas; and brother, Jim (Coleen) Kebrdle.

She was preceded in death her sons, Paul Zampini and Darrin Zampini; brother, William Kebrdle; sister, Joyce Fry; and her parents.

Friends will be received 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
