Laurence (Larry) E. King, age 82, passed away July 8, 2021, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born October 12, 1938, in Norwalk, Ohio to Eldon and Irene (Isele) King.

Larry was a brilliant research chemist, and worked for Lubrizol in Wickliffe, where his innovation and skill led to the issuance of multiple product patents.  After many years of dedicated service at Lubrizol, Larry finally retired in 1999.   He enjoyed the outdoors, travel, rock and mineral collecting, and he dedicated many hours during his retirement pursuing his interest in genealogy.

Larry was deeply loved by his family, and is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Raudasaw) King; son, Laurence E. (Sophie) King; daughters, Jennifer Elizabeth (Brian) Thomas and Megan H. (Ed Furber) King; grandchildren, Laurence T. King, Alex T. King and Sonora A. Furber.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private Family Services will be held.  Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
