Funeral services for Lawrence "Larry, Chick" Rudolph Gedeon, age 79, will be 7:00 PM Friday, at Mulqueeny Spear Funeral Home, 312 Eagle Street, Fairport Harbor, OH.  Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.   Lawrence was born April 17, 1937 in Painesville and passed away September 26, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland.

He was employed at Jeff's Garage in Fairport and also worked at Village Dodge in Painesville Township.

Lawrence enjoyed fishing, traveling with his wife to Las Vegas, dancing and socializing with friends.  Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Lawrence is survived by his Children, Jeff (Melody) Gedeon,  Paul Gedeon,  Kelly Gedeon ,  George Gedeon.  Step-children, Jason and Misty Baker, Troy Baker, Diane Baker (Martin Kenny) and Douglas Baker (Sheila Emerson).  Grandchildren, Marie Gedeon (Aaron West), Tracy Gedeon (Brian Timperio), Lisa Gedeon, Kayla Gedeon, Ivana Stewart, Geoffrey Gedeon and Anthony Gedeon.

Great grandchildren, Dakota, Dannica and Daniel Combs.

Sisters, Charlotte (Richard) Bergkessel of Arizona and Hedy (Bill) Kroenwetter of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Gedeon in 2007, parents George Ignatius and Catherine (Pierce) Gedeon. grandaughter Katherine, stepson Mark Baker, siblings, Laverne, Douglas, Vincent, George and Darlene
