Mass of Christian Burial for Leo W. Scully age 85 Concord Township will be 10: 00 AM Thursday February 23, 2017 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd. Concord Township. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from  4-7 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery.

Leo was born on September 11, 1931 in Watertown, NY and passed away February 18, 2017 at Brookdale of Newell Creek in Mentor.

Leo was Appointed  to the Lake County Planning Commission in 1969. Served as member and Chairman of Lake County Planning Commission 1969 -1976.

Appointed  Concord Township Trustee in 1976. Elected to four successive four-year terms;1977, 1981,  1985 and 1989. Retired at end of term in December of 1993, completing 17 years in  office.

Served  on the Concord Township Zoning Board  of Appeals from 1974   -1976.

Served as Democratic Committeeman, Precinct D, for 20 years.

Served on Executive Committee of Democratic Party in Lake County 3 terms.

Served in the US Army in Korea from 1953-1955

He is survived by, Sons ,Leo W.  Scully Jr.,   Brian M. Scully, daughters, Eileen (Mark) Page,  Mary, (Ted) Rigo

Grandchildren, Steven, Erica and Kevin Scully, Kelly Wolf,  Katie (James) Clark,  Matt and Tom  Page, Michael and David Rigo, Great Grand Children, Hailey Wolf, Kennedy Clark and Anna Page

He was preceded in death by His wife Geraldine "Geri" (Monroe) Scully, Son Daniel P. Scully, daughter in law Suzan Scully
