Graveside services for Leona R. Tirpak age 89 will be 1:30 pm Friday September 11, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery 585 Riverside Drive. Painesville. Pastor Doug Reeder of Calvary Fellowship Baptist church will officiate.

Born August 30, 1926 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana, she was a life long resident of Painesville

Passed away September 10, 2015 at Heartland of Mentor with her family at her side.

Leona was a homemaker and was also employed by Wayside Gardens. She was a member of Calvary Fellowship Baptist Church in Painesville. She was a very spiritual woman, a loving mother and loved tending to her garden and enjoyed sewing

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Steven G. Tirpak whom she married on July 27, 1947

Sons, Paul F. Tirpak and David S. Tirpak Daughters, Patricia Tirpak Ross and Nancy Tirpak Grandchildren, Bill Ross, Jim Ross , Jeff (Allison) Tirpak and Shelly (Cody) Kapostasy Great Grandchildren, Graham Jeffrey Tirpak, Georgia Grace Tirpak Sister, Thelma (Ray) Whitely Brother, Melvin Maier Preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Gladys Maier Brothers, Levon, Marvin, and Darryl Maier Sister, Vereda Atkins The family wishes to thank Heartland of Mentor for their Compassionate Palliative care.
