Leonard A. Balash, age 72, passed away on Sept. 15, 2014. A Perry resident for the past 2 yrs, Lenny was born on March 9, 1942 in Euclid. He attended Euclid High School and retired as a machinist for the Caterpillar Tractor Corp in Mentor

Lenny was a member of the Willoughby American Legion, Post 214 He enjoyed building model cars, working on cars, and watching Western Movies

He is survived by, Wife, Virginia (Blevins) Balash of Perry Son, Jeff (Mekesha) Balash of Willoughby Daughter, Kristen Balash of Madison Step-children, James and John Blevins Deborah Blevins Karen Goodenberger Grandchildren, Cane and Jace Balash Tommy Balash, Renee Redenshek, and Scott Balash 12 Step=Grandchildren and 8 Step-Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by, Son, Mark Balash in 1990 Parents, Joseph and Helen (Turk) Balash Brother, Joseph Balash At Mr. Balash's request calling hours or services will not be held.
