Linda K. (Ames) Rigby, age 70, of Painesville Township, was the daughter of Clarence "Jack" and Mary (Battista) Ames, born on July 18, 1951, in Painesville and passed away at her home on May 21, 2022, surrounded by family. Linda was a 1969 graduate of Harvey High School

She was employed by Avco Finance, Lake County Commissioners, Avery Dennison, and finally opening her own business "Easily Organized"

Linda loved to travel with family and friends. She loved spending time with family and friends at the wineries and cruising. She loved to entertain at her home in her backyard oasis. She was always lending a hand to anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband, David "Skip" Rigby, of 50 years, and her daughter, Missy Rigby, both of Painesville Township, her brothers-in-law; James Rigby of Brentwood TN, Greg (Susan) Rigby of Middleburg Fl, Ron (Karen) Rigby of New Smyrna FL, Tom (Tammy) Rigby of Perry OH; sister-in-law, Dodi (Brian) Finnigan of Lewisburg OH; nieces, Maria (Etienne) Bouchard of Savannah, GA, Katie Finnigan and nephew, Sean Finnigan of Lewisburg OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law, Horace and Jean (Vendi) Rigby; sister-in-law, Mary (Brown) Rigby and her uncles, Bob Ames, Dick Ames, and Tony Battista.

Private funeral services were held. There will be a celebration of life on July 17, 2022, at the Painesville Elks from 2-5pm Located at 723 Liberty St. Painesville, Ohio.

Contributions may be made in Linda's name to the ALS Association, St. Jude's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital.
