Lola Falcone Rosso, wife of Albert J. Rosso; mother of Celeste M. Rosso and Camille R. (David Scott) Keyes; grandmother of Mathew Albert Jugenheimer, Zachariah Albert Krouse, and Joseph Anthony Keyes, died April 13, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Rosso received her Bachelor degree in Education from Lake Erie College, Her Masters of Science in Education Degree from John Carroll University. She was involved with the Painesville City School District for 34 yrs. She taught 2nd grade at St. Clair Street School, 4th grade Enrichment classes at Lathrope School. Lola was a counselor, assistant principle, and principal at Hobart Middle School. She became Director of Education and Curriculum for the district. On several occasions, Mrs. Rosso assisted the State Dept. of Education on many of their teaching projects. She also served on various committees for Painesville City. Mrs. Rosso's main concern was for the welfare and education of the many students in this district. Toward the end of her career, Mrs. Rosso became the gifted and talented co-ordinator for Painesville City Schools. Upon retirement, she traveled with her husband.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State Street, Painesville. Friends will be received from 2-5 pm Sunday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville Contributions may be made to charity ones choice
