Mass of Christian Burial for Lynne Pillar, age 56 of Willoughby, will be 10 :00 AM  Wednesday May 9, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua 523 Plum St. Fairport Harbor. Family and friends may call from 4-7 Tuesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery Painesville.

Lynne was the daughter of James and Marcia (Rich) Pillar born on December 25, 1961 in Painesville, and passed away May 3, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland.

Lynne was a surgical nurse at University Hospital Main Campus for 33 years. She was also a long-time CPR instructor for the American Red Cross. She enjoyed making jewelry, shopping with Mary Alice, floating in her pool, and hosting get-togethers with family and friends. Lynne was an extraordinary aunt...sewing Halloween costumes, making beautiful birthday cakes, and showering her nieces and nephew with thoughtful gifts.

She is survived by her parents, James and Marcia (Rich) Pillar, sisters Lori Pillar and Lisa (Michael) Woodcock, nieces Kelly Pillar and Emily and Grace Woodcock, and nephew Christopher Woodcock.

She also leaves many Godchildren and friends.
