Margaret K. Stewart, age 84, went home to be with the Lord July 8, 2022.  She was born July 20, 1937, in Kingston, Ohio to Robert and Helen Stewart.

In 1943 the family moved to Leroy Township.  Margaret was home schooled and received her high school diploma from Riverside High School.  She was a client for Mentor and Willoughby workshops and she worked at two the workshops for over 40 years.  She participated in the Special Olympics and won a gold medal.  Margaret spent her later years living with her sister, Bobbie and her husband Robert.

Margaret's last days were spent at Lakeland House in Madison, where she was lovingly cared for.  They are a special group of nurses and helpers.  The family would like to thank them for their outstanding care and the love they showed Margaret.

Margaret is survived by her three sisters, Anne Morgan, Susie (Rudy) Prugel, Bobbie (Bob) Brassell, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Dolores Makki; brother in law, Bill Makki; nieces, Linda Horton and Julie Farrell.

Private Services will be held at Williams Cemetery in Leroy Township. There will be no calling hours.
