Marian Weigand, daughter of John and Jenny (Wirtanen) Lintala, born March 21, 1925, went to be with the Lord January 24, 2017.

Marian attended schools in Mahoning County and later attended Malone College.

She was very proud of the fact that she worked as a riveter on the B-29 bombers on the engine cowlings.  Marian also worked for Ohio Rubber Co. prior to becoming a housewife.  She had a great gift of telling stories of growing up on a large dairy farm.

Marian is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Weigand; sister, Joan Vlasak; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Edna Nyland, Lillian Thompson, Esther White, Mildred Homes, Margaret Lintala, Leona Lintala, and Ruth St. John; brothers William A. Lintala, Edwin Lintala, Alfred J. Lintala, Richard C. Lintala and Martin Allen Lintala.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27 at 1:00 PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends may visit from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM before the service.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
