Marilyn I. Schrag, age 87, of Painesville, OH, passed away at her residence May 13, 2026.

She was born February 9, 1939, in Painesville to Ira and Ethel (Sabo) Dye.

Marilyn was a graduate of Riverside High School Class of 1957 and enjoyed football and her Cleveland Browns.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Schrag; daughters, Victoria (Dave) Fargo and Melissa (Lee) Shook; grandchildren, Tara Chandler, Tyler Chandler, Cory (Alex) Shook, and Noelle (Cory) Muro; great grandchildren: Hudson and Weston Muro and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Charles and Delbert Dye.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 22, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville.
