Martha J. (Burr) Snell, age 69, passed away August 19, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.   She was born December 30, 1951, in Ashtabula to Raymond and Catherine (Buscher) Burr.

Martha was a critical care nurse for Lake Hospital Systems, retiring in 2015.  She was a member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church.  Martha loved to be surrounded by family, often making delicious meals to celebrate her love for those around her.  She loved reading, gardening, bird watching and working on her koi pond.  Martha was also an avid Cleveland Indians supporter.

Martha is survived by her husband, Michael D. Snell; sons, Matt (Michelle) Lanzi, Nick Lanzi and Eric (Adelina) Snell; brothers, Gerald (Carol) Burr and Eugene (Rosemary) Burr; sisters, Christine Judson and Genevieve (Thomas) Hogan; grandchildren, Gianna, Logan, and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darryl Lanzi; brother, Vincent Burr, her parents and her beloved pets, Lady, Melody, Allie, and Ashes.

A Memorial Mass for Martha will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
