Martha A. "Marcy" Sabo, age 69, passed away at her home in Madison December 1, 2020.  She was born October 21, 1951 in Painesville to Roy and Patricia (Hadden) Bushnell.

Marcy was a 1969 graduate of Riverside High School and she also received her Associates Degree from Lakeland Community College.  She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairport Harbor, where she sang in the choir.  Marcy was a paralegal and long-time employee of the Sternberg and Zeid Law Firm.  She loved to paint, knit, and fish.  She was a member of the Tole Painters of the Western Reserve.   She also enjoyed travelling with her friends, the Yaya's.  Most of all, Marcy loved her family.  She loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, who were very dear to her.  They fondly called her "Neena".

Marcy is survived by her husband, Don Sabo; son, Matt (Christy) Sabo; daughter, Ginny (Mike) Maglionico; grandchildren, Nicole and Nathan Sabo, Delaney, Sofia, Lola and Gabriella Maglionico; sister, Mary Smith-Wiant and brother, Mark Bushnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Margaret Thompson and brother, Michael Bushnell.

A Funeral Mass will be held, Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairport Harbor, followed by Christian Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville.  Friends will be received, 2:00 – 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 6th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.

In lieu of flowers, donation in Marcy's memory may be made to St. Anthony Church, 316 Fifth Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio 44077 or to the Lake County Council on Aging, 125 East Erie Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
