Funeral Services for Mary J. "Betsy" (Myers) Underwood will be 4:30 PM Thursday February 15th at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue. The family will receive friends Thursday 2:00 pm until 4:30 PM.

Mary was born November 23, 1929 in West Union, WV.  to Lyndall Underwood and John Myers.  She passed away February 12, 2018 at her home in Painesville.  She worked for the former IRC Fibers Co.  "Rayon" and later she worked at and retired from Mill Rose Company of Mentor.

She enjoyed word search, puzzles, crocheting, playing bingo, video poker, bowling and baking.

She is survived by her son, Greg (Nancy) Underwood; daughter, Malia (Danny) Ignat; grandchildren Chad (Melissa)Underwood and Amber (Kevin Malek) Ignat; great grandchildren, Rachel & Sarah Underwood and Adiyah Malek;She also leaves many nieces nephews and faithful furfriend companion Emma.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Elvy "JR." parents, brothers, Jim, John "Bill" and Alva "Heavy" Myers; sister,  Anna Mae Smith.
