A Painesville resident, Mary was born on January 26, 1934 in Johnsonburg, PA. and passed away on August 5, 2014 at UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood.

As a young girl, she moved to Painesville where she became a long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Mary graduated from Harvey High School. She retired from Chase Bank in Painesville.

Mrs. Mahne was an active member of the American Slovenian Club in Fairport Harbor where she was honored as the 2009 Slovene Woman of the Year. She also enjoyed volunteering in the kitchen at the Slovenian Club, loved Polka Music, dancing, cooking, and baking

Survived by, Daughters, Christine (Walter) Ruuska of Mentor Lucinda (David) Mitchin of Cuyahoga Falls Four Grandsons who meant the world to her, Carl Ruuska, Erik Ruuska, Tyler (Kali) Mitchin, and Jacob Mitchin Brothers, Louis (Jean) Grzely of Concord John Grzely of Fairport Harbor

Aunt, Ann Mack of Streetsboro

She is also survived by several nephews and nieces

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville
