Mass of a Christian Burial for Mary Jo Mucciarone, age 66, a lifelong Painesville resident, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bede The Venerable Catholic Church, 9114 Lake Shore Blvd., Mentor 44060. Please Meet at Church. Calling hours will be from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Friday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville 44077. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville. Mrs. Mucciarone passed away December 29th, 2014, at the David Simpson Hospice House in Euclid, Oh. She was born January 12th, 1948, in Cleveland. Mary graduated in 1966 from T.W. Harvey High School in Painesville. Mrs. Mucciarone worked at Ohio Bell and Hawley's Flowers in Painesville. Some of Mary's favorite hobbies included playing golf, Wednesdays with her "golf girls", playing online games with friends, reading, potting flowers, watching Cleveland sports, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandsons and her incredible group of friends. Survivors are her sons, John (Melissa) Mucciarone of Concord Township and Michael (Allison) Mucciarone of Painesville Township; grandchildren, Gabriel, Grayden and Nash; sister, Janice Burke of Olmsted Township, and brother-in-law Joseph (Beverly) Mucciarone of Mentor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mucciarone, whom she married July 22nd, 1972, and parents, Robert and Alice (Hewitt) Gray.
