Obituary

Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Toivonen, age 90, will be 10:00 am Friday at Immaculate Conception Church 2846 S Hubbard Road Madison Friends will be received from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Mrs. Toivonen, a Perry resident was born on November 17, 1923 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Susan J. (Kurimchak) and Andrew Haynes and passed away on July 20, 2014 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland Mary retired from the former I.R.C. Fibers after many years of service and continued to work in the Perry School system after her retirement. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Survived by, Sister, Helen (Haynes) Weaver Nephews, Tim (Denise) Yankie Brian (Marsha) Toivonen Gary (Brenda) Toivonen Tim (Sandra) Weaver Rev. Jeff Weaver Niece; Lisa (Ron) Lorenzo 15 Great and 4 Great-great Nieces and Nephews also survive. Preceded in death by, Husband, Donald E. Toivonen in 2006 Parents, Brother, Joseph L. Haynes

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 5786 Heisley Road Mentor, OH 44060
