Matthew Charles Funk, age 46, passed away September 15, 2022, at his residence in Concord Township.  He was born May 4, 1976, in Euclid to Thomas C. and Regina (Davis) Funk.

Matthew worked in the housekeeping department at Lake West Medical Center for many years.  He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Mentor.  Matthew enjoyed collecting H. O. trains.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Thomas C. Funk Jr.; sisters, Sandra (Scott) Artman and Jane Bretschneider; Uncles; Ray (Adie) Funk, David (Carol) Davis; many nieces nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 PM.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM  Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery, 385 Riverside Drive, Painesville.  Please meet at the cemetery.
