Michael D. Sekki, age 68, passed away March 26, 2022, at University Hospital Geauga Medical Center.  He was born January 19, 1954, in Painesville to Edwin Dale and Anna (Valocchi) Sekki.

Michael was employed by Lubrizol for over 40 years, retiring in 2016.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville and was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, St. Mary's and many other organizations.  Michael was a kind and generous person, always putting others before himself.  He loved golfing and woodworking.

Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy (Manley) Sekki; sons, David Sekki, and Joseph (Shelly) Sekki; grandchildren, Josh and Bri Furness; sisters, Adele (Frank) Zalek, Cindy (Chuck) Franko, Mary Sekki and Lisa (Sean) Seibert; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family will be received from 4:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday, April 1, 2022, at St, Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
