Funeral services for Minerva Marie LaForce, age 83, will be 11:00 am Wednesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville with Minister Jay-Ar Miclat of the Mentor Church of Christ officiating. Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. A long time Painesville resident, Minerva was born on November 25, 1931 in Lee County, Virginia and passed away on January 17, 2015 at her residence.

She was a member of the Fairport Harbor Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed gardening, and traveling. Her joy was canning foods, especially her green beans.

Mary Ann (Roger) McGinnis of Geneva

Carol (Donal Rex) Woodard of Jonesville, VA

Grandchildren,

Cathy, Lisa, Tina, Heather, Timothy, Jason, Leeann, and Beecher

Several Great Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive
