Krivenki
June 30, 1932 – January 26, 2022
Miriam "Jeanne" Krivenki, age 89, passed away January 26, 2022, in Concord Township, Ohio. She was born June 30, 1932, in Donora, Pennsylvania to William Harold and Sara J. (Hunt) Black.
Jeanne was an educator both professionally and at heart, and worked for the Mentor and Willoughby School Systems for many years, as well as providing private tutoring. She was passionate, award-winning gardener; avid reader; and long-time member of both the DAR and Colonial Dames. She spent much of her life continuing her father's work in collecting family history in detailed, bound books. She gathered regularly to play Bridge with friends and loved intellectual conversation. Above all else, she valued gathering with and spending quality time with her family.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Carl Krivenki of Concord Township; daughter, Carol (Jeffrey) Knezevich of Painesville; son, David (Angie) Krivenki of Mentor; brother, Jack (Barbara) Black of Winchester, Virginia; grandchildren, Sarah (Daniel) Curtis, Dan (Lindsey) Krivenki, Amanda (Tom) Doty, Lisa Krivenki, Christopher Krivenki, Taylor Krivenki, Kristen Ignat, Stephanie Ignat, Avery Krivenki, Logan Krivenki, and Stephen Krivenki; and great grandchildren, Zachary, Eliana, Quincey, Harper, Harrison, Owen and Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Krivenki and Stephen Krivenki, and her parents.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio 44077. Private burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 2nd at Concord Cemetery on Concord Hambden Road in Concord Township.
