Myrtle J. (Browning) Wilkerson, age 85, of Madison passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Madison.
She was born on September 27, 1930 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Marvin and Ina Mae Browning. Myrtle had attended Here's Hope Baptist Church in Madison. She had been a demonstrator at Giant Eagle stores in Lake County for several years. Myrtle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Armstrong and Debbie (James) Kuhn, both of Perry; and her brother Jerry (Judi) Browning. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Bridget (Scott) Kronik and James (Jolene) Kuhn; and great-grandchildren, Ashlee Kronik and Cole Kuhn; and her loved Chihuahua, Tinker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wilkerson; son, Gary Wilkerson; brother, Billy Browning; sister, Ethel Roberts; and son-in-law, Gene Armstrong.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery Painesville.
