Services for Norman G. Salminen, age 86 will be 11:00 AM Thursday March 9, 2023, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 250 Bowhall Road. in Painesville Township.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services on Thursday.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.

Norman was the son of Oscar and Saima (Rantila) Salminen born on January 29, 1937, in Painesville. He passed away March 3, 2023, at Brookdale of Mentor.

Norman was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was employed at Hanover now Westfield Insurance for many years. He enjoyed golfing and loved sports.

He is survived by his sons Scott Salminen and Jeff Salminen; grandchildren Samuel and Kirsten Salminen.

He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Jo in 2022, brothers, David, Edwin, Eino and Wilho; sister, Helmi Salminen, and his parents.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
