Obituary

Mass of Christian Burial for Olga W. Crnko age 92 of Painesville will be 9:30 am Monday January 11, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State St. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 2-4 pm Sunday January 10, 2016 at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Olga was the daughter of Michael and Walburga Steurer born on June 20, 1923 in Ansbach Germany and passed away January 6, 2016 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township. She met her future GI husband Frank while working at the Prince Regent in Germany and were married on September 29,1955 moving to the US in 1957. In her lifetime she was a star athlete, a WWII survivor, a Browns fan, a wonderful homemaker and cook. She loved her Holy Father and family. She would always be found on her swing with a Tassla coffee admiring her backyard paradise. Ade und schlaf gut Mom. Survivors: Husband: Frank Children: Ursula (Edward) Castania, Helmut (Hun Chu) Crnko, Carola (Mox Eggert) Crnko, Diana (Luigi) Di Carlo Grandchildren, Scott Crnko, Kelly (Geoff) Sneed, and Frank Crnko Great Grandchildren, Abigail, Fletcher, Reagan and Jackson and all her special granddogs. Olga was also grateful for her honorary daughter Karen Karbacka. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
