Patricia Cannon, age 89, passed away, peacefully at home, February 19, 2022, in Painesville Township, Ohio.  She was born April 13, 1932, in Cleveland to Charles and Essie Haas.  They later moved to the family farm in Perry.

Patricia attended St. Mary School in Painesville.  She was a 1950 graduate of Perry High School, and she received her R. N. degree from Toledo Hospital School of Nursing.

Patricia was employed at Lake East Hospital and worked for Dr. Judd's Office.  She also worked for the Painesville City School System and was the school nurse for Harvey High School and Hobart Middle School.  She then worked as a private duty nurse for many years.

She was a woman of strong faith throughout her entire life.  She and her husband were founding members of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord Township.  She was an active member of the Christ Child Society of the Western Reserve.

Patricia loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed feeding and watching birds.  She loved the outdoors, sunny days, taking walks, gardening and especially loved trips to Florida.

Patricia was a devoted wife and mother.  She is survived by her daughters, Kim Crawford and Kate (Tom) Wilhelm; grandchildren, Joe (Sheena) Crawford, Chris Crawford; Clare (Zach) Il'Giovine, Bridget (Thomas) Hite, Maggie Wilhelm (fiancé, Josh Williford), and Colleen Wilhelm; great grandchildren Caden Crawford, Luca and Cora Il'Giovine; sister, Nancy (Lloyd) Grantham; sister-in-law, Sue Cannon; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph B. Cannon, in 2019; son, Chuck Cannon; grandson, Craig Crawford; brothers, Charlie Haas and Tom Haas; sister, Geri Finotti; and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, Ohio.  Family and friends will be received 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM before mass, at the church.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
