Patricia A. Carthen, age 84, passed away December 8, 2021, at Homestead II Nursing Home in Painesville. She was born September 7, 1937, in Cleveland to Robert and Ann C. (Rosipko) Mitchell.

Patricia was a Mentor resident since 1968.  She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. Pat was a supervisor for Dalton Industries for over 18 years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her sons, Bonder "Barney" (Tami) Carthen of Leroy and Michael (Gary) Carthen of Cleveland; daughters, Bonnie Bernadette (Frank) Kraska of Concord Township and Cynthia (Robb) Quaal of Mentor; son-in-law, John Fearnow of Punxsutawney, PA.; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonder C. Carthen in 1990; daughter, Victoria Fearnow; great grandson, Noah Carthen; brother, Bob Mitchell; sister, Ellen Norman, and her parents.

The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Homestead II for the heartfelt care they gave Pat.
