(Nank) Whiting
October 5, 1943 – July 21, 2025
In Loving Memory of Patricia J. Whiting, age 81, of Painesville Township, Ohio, who passed away at Western Reserve Hospice House in Cleveland, on Monday, July 21, 2025.
Patricia was born in East Cleveland, Ohio on October 5, 1943. She grew up in Eastlake/Willowick, Ohio, and graduated from Eastlake North High School in 1961.
Patricia married her high school sweetheart, John Whiting (deceased August 21, 2017) on August 3, 1963. They shared 54 wonderful years of marriage,
Patricia was employed at King Instruments in Eastlake. She was involved in the assembling of saxophones. She enjoyed her time there and the friendships that were made. Upon retirement, she and her husband built their dream vacation lake house in Roaming Shores, Ohio, where family and friends gathered on the weekends to enjoy their dream.
Patricia was a beautiful woman from the inside out, very caring, and a loving mother to her five children, Kristine (Ron) Advey, Daniel (Krista) Whiting, Michael (Stefanie) Whiting, Ann Whiting and Theresa (Brian) Williams.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Sara (Chris) Cervenka, Barbara Casteel, Mitchell Casteel, Sam Martin, Justin Advey, Emily Brown, Jessica Brown, Kate Whiting, Kloe Whiting, Klair Whiting, and her great grandchildren, Savanna Cervenka, Carter Cervenka, Lillyana Casteel Winter and Deacon Martin.
She is predeceased by her parents, Erwin and Ann Nank; brothers, Herb Stofer, Bob Stofer, Erv Nank and sister, Ruth McNerney. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Mom, we all love you very much and we will miss you dearly. LOVE YOU ALWAYS.
A Private memorial service will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
