Patricia J. Varner, age 89, of Painesville, OH passed away December 3, 2022, at David Simpson House in Cleveland, OH. She was born October 15, 1933, in Brownton, W. VA. to Otis and Mamie (Lowe) Miller.

She married Homer Varner August 15,1959, which was the happiest day of their lives.  Patricia worked at the Rayon for nineteen years and later was a cook at the Lake County Sheriffs Department and Lake County Juvenile Detention Center.

Patricia is survived by her husband, of 63 years, Homer Varner Sr.; children, Homer Varner Jr., Cheryl Guy, Kenneth Hickman, and Blaine Hickman Jr.; special great-grandson, Joey Matson Jr.; brothers, Mike Miller and Douglas Miller; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and five sisters.

Family and friends will be received 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday December 6, 2022, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
