Paulann "Polly" Sidley, age, 86, passed away November 24, 2022, surrounded by her family, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  She was born April 7, 1936, in Bellevue, Pennsylvania to Paul Hunter Fisk and Naomi (Dillon) Fisk.

Polly attended Mars High School in Pennsylvania and graduated from Lake Erie College, Painesville in 1959.  She went on to become a medical technologist (ASCP certified) at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. In 1958 she married Robert C. Sidley, whom she met while at Lake Erie College. They were married for 64 years until they left this world together.

Polly is survived by her two sons, Robert P. (Sandra) Sidley and Michael A. (Geta) Sidley; six grandchildren, Cassandra A. Sidley, (Aaron Shenker), Caitlin D. Sidley (Cristian Rosu), Robert L. Sidley (Jessica Noll), Robert (Pamela) Calkins, Michael (Kimberly) Calkins; Alan (Jess) Calkins; greatgrandchildren, Remme, Reed, Rowe, Zelda, Elizabeth, and Ethan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Polly was a member of Painesville United Methodist Church.  She was very active in the Western Reserve Junior Service League for 14 years, 1962 until 1976 and was chairman of the Red Stocking Revue in 1970 and 1972.

Polly and her husband Robert raised horses.  They owned and operated Northern Farms in Painesville for many years.  They also had a race stable and raced their horses in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Indiana.

Polly loved wine, shopping, and working outside in her garden. She was animal lover and would do anything for anyone in need.

Family and friends will be received 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, December 3rd, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street in Painesville.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
