Philip Michael Jenkins, age 88, a lifetime resident of Leroy Township, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, September 9, 2022, with his daughters by his side, at University Hospitals Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born in Lakewood, September 3, 1934, to Donald and Helen (Leyde) Jenkins.

He was a firefighter, fire inspector with the Concord Fire Department from 1963 until 2002, and a Fair board director for Lake County. Philip enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, farming, raising poultry, "Pure bred Buckeyes", and working with animals.

Philip is survived by his daughters; Kathy (Donald) Swietlik and Susan (James) Potts; grandchildren, Jamie, Charlie, Shannon, and Michael; great grandchildren, Charles, Cameron, Christian, Carina, Cara, Cael, Isabella, Cole, Zane and Benjamin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Eileen (Henderson) Jenkins.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Williams Cemetery in Leroy Township.
