Phyllis J. Schlee, age 97, passed away August 26, 2026, in Painesville, Ohio. She was born September 18, 1929, in Cleveland to Michael Kangas and Lillian (Pouttu) Kangas.

Phyllis was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to casinos and the Painesville Elks Club. She also enjoyed puzzles, coloring, reading, working in her yard, and playing games with family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Honey Hart and Sunny Graham; grandchildren, Kevin Harrison (Grace Ozinga) and Jennifer Gould; great grandchildren; and nephew, Shane Guy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, George D. Schlee Jr. in 2021; her parents and sisters, Nancy Guy and Sally Westhom.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Williamsfield Center Cemetery, South Main Street in Williamsfield, Ohio.
