Obituary

R. Glenn Hlebak, age 86 of Kingsville, OH. Passed away March 30, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, OH. He was born September 27, 1934 in Cleveland, OH. to Louis and Susan (Steve) Hlebak.

Glenn served in Korea in the U. S. Army and was a self-employed machinist. He was a member of many organizations including St. Andrew Bobola Catholic Church, the Masonic Lodge, and the Ashtabula Kennel Club. He was a former member of Eastlake City Council.

He is survived by his sons; Robert Hlebak of Painesville, Christopher (Marianne) Hlebak of Charlotte, NC., Michael Hlebak of Wilmington, OH.; daughters, Cynthia Hlebak of Eastlake, Deborah (Daniel) Petrich of Willoughby, Constance (Bob) Wood of Eagle River, AK, Linda Hlebak of Painesville, and Laura Hlebak of Eastlake; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Bokal, Trisha (AL) Buchynsky, Samantha Hlebak(Fiancé, Nicholas Biddell) , Nicole (Kevin) Acken, Bradley Hlebak, Alexandria Hlebak and four great grandchildren. He also leaves behind good friend Rachel Tupper.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Kenneth and Ronald Hlebak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road Concord Township, OH. Family and friends will be received April 11, 2021 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.

A memorial service is being planned at St. Andrew Bobola Catholic Church, 3700 State Route 193 Kingsville, Oh 44048

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Andrew Bobola Catholic Church.

With respect to those around us, social distancing and the wearing of masks are required by the funeral home and the church.
