Ralph Richard Katonak, age 73, of Painesville passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1945 in Vermilion, OH to Joseph and Dora (Eddy) Katonak.

He was a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of 1963.  Ralph worked as a shift supervisor at Robintech and earlier he had worked 23 years at Lonza.

Ralph enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casinos,  and playing the Lottery with his many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Kay (Morris) Katonak; daughters, Carrie Sue Katonak of Jackson, MI and Melissa Soli of Ft Myers, FL; son, Lance E. (Gina) Buckley of Erin, NY and granddaughters, Kelly S. Dolson and Shannon Dolson.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Kenneth C Katonak, David A. Katonak, and Lawrence E. Katonak.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Hospice of the Western Reserve and the medical personel that cared for Ralph.

Private family services have been held.
